    • Use 10 grams of bishop’s herb (ajwain). Wrap the cloth in a clean towel and tie the ends with a rubber band. This cloth should be heated in a saucepan. Now, take a moment to smell it. This home remedy will clear nasal blockage.
    • Mix 5 ml of fresh garlic (lahsun), juice with holy basil, tulsi, four black peppers (kali mech), a clove (laung), and a teaspoon honey. This mixture can be taken twice daily to treat this condition.
    • Suck liquorice (mulethi). This home remedy is effective for a sore throat, cold, and irritation. Mulethi can also be taken with honey 2-3 times per day.
    • Garlic (lahsun), is an important herb for the treatment of cold and cough. A useful home remedy is to use fresh garlic juice (10-15ml) and equal amounts of honey.
    • Drink lukewarm, especially after meals. This will soothe and calm any irritation or soreness in your throat.
    • Eucalyptus oil can be used to clear nasal blockage. It can also be used to treat sinus problems.
    • Tea made from holy basil (tulsi), and garlic (lahsun), is beneficial for soothing the agitated airways.
    • Avoid being exposed to cold winds. Protect your head and chest with woolen clothing.
    • Boil 500mg cinnamon powder (dalchini). This milk can be boiled in clarified butter (ghee), and drank to relieve cold at night.
    • Consume whole-grain bread with clarified butter (ghee). To get strength and relief, drink a glassful lemon juice with hot water. It will clear your nose, reduce sneezing and soothe your throat.
