    Headache, which is a pain in the upper neck or head that can be caused by any number of diseases, has become a very common problem in our society. This condition is not uncommon. Everybody has experienced a headache at one time or another in their lives.

    Tension headache is the most common type of headache. It is often associated with stress, depression, or anxiety. Cluster headaches, migraines, and sinus headache are other common headaches. A headache is caused by strain on the nervous system, either from stress or internal strain. Head refers to the central nervous system that causes headaches.

    This can occur for many reasons including high or low blood pressure or constipation, gastric trouble or wind problems, indigestion or sinus trouble, excessive smoking, excessive consumption of tobacco, excessive drinking of coffee or tea, lack of rest, anxiety, tension, and fatigue. While all headaches are different, there is one thing that all types of headaches have in common: headaches can cause pain.

    What to do?

    • Apply a paste of freshly ground clay/freshly ground sandalwood to your forehead. Let dry, then rub off with your hands and wash. Use a paste of ground cinnamon to the forehead.

    • Apply a fresh mint leaf to the area of the head that is experiencing the most pain.

    • You should live in an environment that has plenty of fresh air.
    • Along with other meals, fruits and green vegetables should all be consumed daily.
    • You must not eat fried or roasted foods.
    • You should drink between 10 and 15 glasses of water each day.
    • Avoid spicy foods and eat light.
    • You should exercise regularly.
    • Yoga asanas can help with headaches.
