    In previous articles, I discussed the importance of eating the right foods for reducing abdominal fat. Lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, low-fat dairy products, whole grains, and lean meats are all good options for reducing belly fat. This article will be more specific about the best foods to reduce this common health problem. A belly fat diet doesn’t mean you have to eat bland, tasteless foods that you don’t normally eat. It actually includes many very healthy foods that you may already be eating, but are not getting enough of. Here is a list of healthy foods you should be eating more. These are all foods you may already eat.

    What to eat?

    • Bananas – Everybody loves bananas. Many people don’t realize that bananas have high levels of potassium. This reduces your body’s sodium level. Sodium is salt. It holds water, which causes the body to swell.
    • Avocados – This tropical fruit is great for salad dressings and dips. It also contains a lot of healthy mono-saturated oils. These fats prevent your body from storing fat around your waist by reducing blood sugar spikes.
    • Organic Yogurt – Consuming one cup of high-quality, organic yogurt per day will encourage the growth and development of good bacteria to fight the bad bacteria. Bloating can be caused by the accumulation of bad bacteria. Check that the label states “live cultures” or ‘active cultures.
    • Fresh Berries – We all love fresh strawberries and blueberries. The antioxidants in berries can increase blood flow and oxygenation, which can lead to a better workout. This boosts cardio workouts for better abs. To avoid pesticide residues that could affect your long-term health, stick with wild or organic berries.
    • Green Tea – This tea is known for its health benefits and has been used for centuries in the Orient for many ailments. It’s also known to increase your metabolism and help you burn more calories. The tea contains an ingredient called ECGC that helps your body burn fat faster.
    • Whole Grains – As mentioned earlier, whole grains are essential in maintaining low insulin levels. Whole grains take longer to digest and burn, which means they provide longer-lasting energy. More energy means more calories burned. These healthier grains can be used to replace white flour products that are high in unhealthy refined grains.
    • Citrus – According to an Arizona State University study, eating lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits can help you burn up to 30% more fat. These fruits can also be juicing, but not as beneficial as eating the whole fruit. These healthy belly fat foods can help you lose weight, but it is important to cut down on refined sugar and processed foods, as well as to exercise. If you do all of these things, your chances of losing belly fat are high.

    Balance of exercise and diet are the key to a flat stomach. This does not mean that you should be doing boring stomach crunches or following a fad diet to lose stomach fat. With these four simple steps, you can transform your loose belly. Running, swimming and cycling all require you to use your glycogen reserves and burn fatty acids. You can melt your belly fat and keep from getting bored by mixing cardio exercise with floor-work. Be patient with your exercise program, as we all lose weight in different areas. You should not expect to see a complete transformation in your stomach after just a few days. You will be able to stick to your exercise program for the next few weeks.

    You should aim to do at least 20 minutes of cardio exercise three times per week. This is a minimum time commitment. Cardio activity should be done at least 30 minutes per day for clients who are pursuing weight loss. You can do cardio exercise in a variety of ways – you don’t have to stick with one type of exercise. Why not get on your bike and go for a spin in summer? For maximum stomach fat loss, make sure to include floor exercises in your exercise routine. Many people believe that stomach crunches are the best way to lose belly fat. Wrong!

    Rest and Recover

    As with any muscle, the abs need to be allowed to rest and recover. While floor work is important for firming the stomach, it is not beneficial to do endless crunches or waste time with fancy stomach firming equipment. The best results are achieved by combining floor-based exercises with other exercises that don’t focus on abs. Don’t fall for a fad diet! Healthy eating places emphasis on fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats and fish. It also includes a low amount of trans fats, saturated oils, cholesterol, added salt, and added sugar. A healthy diet doesn’t exclude any food group.

    A balanced diet is essential for our bodies to function properly. Your diet should include both carbohydrates and fats. Be sure to eat the right amount of fat and maintain a healthy carbohydrate intake. Your carbohydrate intake should not exceed 65% of your daily caloric intake. Cutting out carbohydrates can cause your body and brain to be starved of vital fuel. Your brain and body need the right amount carbohydrates to function properly. Your body requires the glucose and glycogen that are directly supplied by carbohydrates. Are you wondering why your lo-carb friends are losing weight? They aren’t actually losing fat by cutting carbs, but they are losing weight through water (since water molecules are associated with carbohydrate molecules). Lo-carb diets do not provide a balanced way to lose your belly.

    Reduce your intake of white foods like pasta and rice by sticking to whole wheat pasta and brown rice as your carb source. Are you aware of how much fat is in the diet? Do you know how much fat is in your diet? Although some fat is necessary for a healthy diet, it is important to control your fat intake.
